Pentel Energel allowed on Exams?
If there are any examiners here, please could you confirm if pentel energel (specifically black 0.5 bln75), are allowed in the exams? I know the restrictions around black ink, but recently heard that all gel pens weren't allowed because of something regarding the scanners. Thanks.

Your school/college exams officer should be familiar with the exam boards' regulations and be able to advise you on this.
Just use a black ballpoint pen. It's so easy to just use a normal pen.
Then you don't need to worry about whether it will scan, or smudge, or spontaneously combust...
