Dentistry Gap Year

I originally wanted to apply for dentistry but got 2420 b3 in my UCAT so I applied for dental hygiene and therapy instead. I want to take a gap year and then re-apply for dentistry instead. Given the changes in the UCAT and personal statement for 2026 applications, would it be a good decision to take a gap yr and apply for dentistry ?

Ucat is practice so in your holidays you should be revising/ prepping for that but also take time to chill as well. The most important thing for you now is a level revision, bang the a levels out so then you don’t need to worry about them anymore
