Can I become an Accountant without alevel maths?

I'm currently in year 12 studying Economics, Geography and Biology and have been considering accounting as a career, I've been looking at degree apprenticeship v degree and different ways into accounting. To start with am I able to get into accounting without alevel maths and secondly will I struggle actually doing accounting work without it? (Grade 8 at gcse maths so not completely stupid)

Some courses will require it so you will have your options limited but its still possible, you won't struggle, tbh I think the likes of Level 3 Maths in Context would be more useful in the long run than A Level Maths for accounting

Yeah you’d be fine, unis like Durham and Exeter and Leeds don’t require a level maths for degrees such as accounting and finance

consider courses like PwC Flying Start Degree as well as apprenticeships. going to uni for a regular A&F course is slowly becoming less popular because of how hard it is to get an accounting grad scheme
