Student loan

I have been offered a place to train as a physics teacher at BGU under PGCE. I am entitled to the government bursary according to the school and I want to ask if I can get loan to pay the school fees upfront. I am an international student.

Not sure what the deal is with Student Finance and foreign students. Probably worth doing some research. Google is a great way of finding the answers to these sort of questions.

You are paid the bursary in 10 monthly installments and the loan is usually paid in termly amounts. It depends on the university, but usually they are able to arrange payments around this. Check with the university where you will be going - some require deposits, some want money up front, others are more flexible, so it is necessary to check with the provider of your course,

Good luck!

My school has actually confirmed my eligibility for the loan, but I need to pay 25% initial deposit for the school before any document can be sent to be. So I want to know if the option of getting loan from SFE which probably they will pay directly into the school on my behalf is available for an international student like myself that's coming from Nigeria.
