Should I sign the acceptance contract if it's my second choice

I've recently been offered an unconditional offer on a course that, while I like, is not my top choice. If I sign the acceptance contract and cancel it if my top choice decides to accept me is this allowed? From reading the contract it seems like I can cancel at anypoint until 10 days after the course starts.

When you say 'acceptance contract' is this something the uni has sent you directly, or asked you to complete in their portal?

This is something the Uni has sent me directly. I should say the uni is Drama studio London in partnership with University of West London.

Okay, did you apply to them directly or via UCAS?

Through Ucas however I applied on an undergraduate application and my other offers are on a conservatoire application

A little difficult to advise without seeing the wording of what they have sent you, but usually accepting an offer (either via UCAS or via a portal or whatnot) isn't really binding unless you formally enrol.

If they are asking for a deposit, there will be specific refund terms.

I thought that you didn’t have to accept an offer until the UCAS deadline.

This is some kind of acceptance contract from the uni, not accepting via UCAS.
