My English mock..

Hello guys I’m year eleven and I’m stressing out a lot ! I’m a stem person and I hate English it’s my worst subject. I’m always trying to revise for English and I’m just a stressed tbh ! So on paper 1 my teacher said I did well but she hasn’t marked paper two and it’s been a few days and I’ve realised I misread the inspector calls question and I wrote about the wrong character in stressing so much because I don’t want to do bad 😢

Hi! I'm in year 12 and although I loved english, I know the stress of getting something wrong in a mock. Don't stress too much because if you did well on paper 1 it will end up balancing out. And when applying to sixth forms and colleges, they ask for a predicted grade. Depending on how nice your teacher is, I would ask really nicely for a few grades higher predicted if your end grade for your mock turns out to be low (hopefully not!). Tell your teacher you will work extremely hard to get the grade you want predicted in your GCSEs, and they may budge- my maths teacher did for me! And you seem like a hard worker; most STEM people are. Don't stress too much when you don't know what will happen! Hope this helps 😊
