revision timetable

Hi ! Does anyone know how to make a revision timetable that is easy to follow?
I know I might be a bit late doing this as there are only a few months left until GCSEs 😬

Hi,
I hope you are well!😊

You are not too late to start revising! Better late than never I'd say!😊

GCSE's can be very overwhelming when you have lots of subjects to revise. However, a good revision timetable and a little bit of dedication will get you there!

I've added some tips for creating a revision timetable here:

There is a really good example and revision timetable template here from BBC Bitesize. I like how simple the template is, and its already make! - So check it out😊

You might want to start my noting all of your subjects down on a piece of paper, and then adding the times you are at school into your timetable.

You might decide on a Monday after school to have a 30-45 minute break when you get home to have a shower, have a snack, or unpack your bag and watch some tv. You might then give yourself 30 minutes or an hour to do your homework, and then have a break before dinner. After dinner, you might decide to do English or Biology revision for an hour. You could use this schedule for each night of the week, but make sure you revise a different subject each night.

On a weekend, you might decide to do some revision in the morning for an hour or two, or in the evening.

Make sure your timetable is realistic! Don't say you will revise English, Maths, and Science for 3 hours each day- as you are unlikely to stick to this! It's also important to make time for breaks, or any hobbies, sports, or activities that you like doing!

When making my revision timetables I found it really helpful to talk to my teachers or tutors to see if they have any advice for me. You could also ask them to check it over after you have made it to make sure you have included all of your subjects.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you would like any other tips or have any other questions.
Make sure to take lots of breaks and make time for yourself!💕
Best of luck with your exams! 😊🍀

Take care,
