What should I do?

I have found myself wanting to change my whole studies around and try applying for prestigious universities... though the issue I have is I didn't do Alevels, I did a Btec extended diploma. And anywhere I look, those unis look into not only your gcses WHICH I FLOPPED BIG TIME. they also want just a levels. My course was equivalent to 3 levels, but I didn't even get an aaa I got something equivalent to like an abb. (120 ucas points)
OK where I'm heading with this is just should I honestly just give up and study somewhere else or what
I was also just thinking of doing an undergrad somewhere else and then apply to the said unis for a masters but.. I don't know....

If your existing qualifications are well short of the requirements there's no point in applying. The master's approach is much more realistic.

And ...... 'top' Unis will not care where you did your Undergrad.
All they will be interested in is that you have a 2i or a First, your determination to do the course, and the academic references.
