Hi @hannaharmstrong6 🙂
I am a current 2nd year midwifery student awaiting to start my 3rd year of studying midwifery at Kingston University! Applicants are eligible to apply to study midwifery BMid and a foundation year can be included if grades are lower than expected on results day through clearing.

Linked is the Kingston University clearing website for you to have a look:
Clearing 2025 | Kingston University London

If you have any other questions about being a midwifery student or university student in general I'm also here to help.

All the best!

Hey, ucas doesn’t close until this Thursday so the interviews won’t be given out for a few weeks yet! I think mines last year was start of march, I’m the same I applied last year for the first time in a few years after having my girls back to back but it’s just so competitive 😩

Hi can you remember the questions you were asked or the type of questions?

Unfortunately nobody can't and shouldn't be sharing any interviews questions to anyone as that's actual classes as cheating.....

Usual universities change the questions for every group and individual interviews to stop people like you asking for what was the questions.....

Do your proper research on your course and you'll be better prepared

NHS registered band 7 senior charge nurse midwife and supervisor/ mentor to future midwives.

I understand the thought of interviews can be very nerve wracking, but if you are wanting to demonstrate skills you have built its best to go in genuinely and give answers you have created.

Thank you but I have done my research sorry if it came across as trying to cheat but I wasn’t I knew they wouldn’t ask the questions again it was just to practise how to format answers and I couldn’t think of anymore more questions

I think interviews are face to face this year! They have been online since Covid so mine last year was online! Good luck 🤞🏼

Thanks 🙏 🙏 yeah it just the way you wrote it unfortunately made it sounded like that okay 👍.

Don't know what you researching on but some examples
1) NMC code of practice
2) NHS core values and what happening currently your local health trust
3) 6 C's of nursing
4) reason why you want to be a midwife
5) can you cope with stress whilst working as a student or qualified midwife and still be able to do your job or would you seek help
6) can you cope with bereavement as yes it can happen but very rare and stay professional doing your job as a midwife.
7) why you chosen this particular university

8 read over your personal statement as they might ask you something about it.
9 have some questions ready to ask the interviewer if you get the opportunity.

Honestly it's very difficult to actually gauge what questions you will be asked at your interview.
