Undergraduate/Masters

I really need some help with this:

I really enjoy studying languages but I know that i would like a career that involves politics as well.

I have two options that i’m considering:

-studying two languages for undergrad (hopefully oxbridge) and then doing a masters in international relations - perhaps at edinburgh.
OR
-studying one language (spanish or german) and politics at Edinburgh Uni

Is it too risky to depend on being able to do a masters after undergrad? should i instead just be safer and ensure i at least have an undergrad degree in politics with a language? Will i end up with a ton of debt if i did a masters as well?

please i really would love some advice

I'm not an expert in the field but personally I would do the second option. It may even set you up better to apply for the masters by demonstrating early that you have an interest in international politics (by doing both a language and politics). Either option probably works honestly especially if you're looking at Oxbridge/multiple languages. In which case it probably depends on the financials, which is only something you can know.
