Maths teachers!!!

I did GCSE maths for the Edexcel exam board and someone wants me to tutor them but their scl does the OCR exam board - is there any major differences I should be aware of or can I just use the same edexcel resources I used and be fine?
Eg. Is there any extra content I should teach or any content I dont need to teach..?

What year are they in, what problems are they having, why cant you support what gets taught normally by their school ....

But a quick google gave

Wbf, some kids can / have done maths gcse early, but have you/they discussed accelerating them with their parents/teachers? The usual advice is to do harder/enrichment (more interesting?) problems, rather than focus on accelerating.

The previous link covered the differences?

Yea ive discussed with their parents and they’re fine w the way im doing it - I just didn’t wanna make them learn extra content in an exam style way that they didn’t need
Thanks for the help!

Id really recommend him/his parents discussing it with his teachers. If the aim is to do gcses early obviously they should be aware of it / think about what the kid will do when theyre bored in class because theyre covering the same content again. Similarly, the parents may not really understand the enrichment/acceleration distinction.
