What are the advantages of Mnurse degree over adult nursing. Can someone from university of Bradford please share their experience with this course. How does the timetable ans placement schedule looks like. I have a 19month old toddler so I am mainly planning my study keeping her care in mind

hi, i've also applied for this course to start in september. My guess is that it is better than regular adult nursing as it is an integrated masters meaning that you finish with a masters instead of a bachelors. It also allows us to be qualified with the NMC as both an adult nurse and a mental health nurse. I think aha pls don't quote me on this as i'm not currently doing the course but i do have it as my firm choice!

Good morning @Moon saye 🤗

I've popped a message to the faculty admin to see if they can provide some information about the timetable and placement schedule, so I'll be back in touch shortly when I hear back 🙂

In the meantime, I thought you might find this blog post useful from one of our MNurse students.

Thank you

Becky

Hey again @Moon saye

I have received the below message from the Programme Leader for MNurse

The MNurse is a 4-year professional integrated undergraduate Masters degree in Nursing. Learners study two fields of Nursing and if you successfully complete all required elements, it allows you to register with the NMC to practice in 2 fields of Nursing. We currently offer 2 pathways, Child/Mental Health and Adult/Mental Health.

Please do consider placement travel and hours if contemplating joining the course to ensure you have adequate childcare. Hours can be 0700-2000 for instance if on a long day depending on the placement setting.
Please visit the course page and read through the documents carefully to ensure the course is the right one for you. Thank you
