C In English

I'm trying to get into Cambridge or Edinburgh but I didn't take Nat 5 seriously and got a C in English.
I've done my research and seen that both unis want a B in Nat 5 English.
If I get AAAAA in Higher and AAA in Advanced Higher would they ignore the bad grade or do I have to take Higher or Nat 5 English in S6 to make up for it?

Hi - what subject are you looking to study at uni? I would strongly recommend taking Higher English - you do want to prove that you can score higher, especially if universities see that you have a C, because Cambridge is very competitive. I would advise asking uni admission teams though 🙂
