Thanks for asking this. I am a final-year student at the University of Salford, but studying Theatre and Performance Practice, so very different to Adult Mental Health Nursing. It sounds like you have applied already?
Was it the undergraduate or postgraduate course you were thinking of? Both are great courses, but will have different entry requirements.
I have added their pages here, if you are already familiar feel free to ignore these:
The best way to find out what interview questions you might receive is to contact our enquiries team who will be happy to assist, here are their contact details:
Tel:+44 (0)161 295 4545 (The team is available to answer your questions Monday to Friday, from 10:00-16:00.)
Another way to find out more about the course (if it is the undergraduate course in particular which you are considering) then come along to one of our Open Days, our next Open Day is on Saturday 14th June, if you'd like to book a spot the link is below:
🙂 Meet the academic staff and find out more about your chosen course. 🙂 Meet fellow students and get an insight into student life at that university 🙂 Speak to other departments such as student support. 🙂 Have a campus tour and view the course facilities 🙂 Explore local accommodation options to see whether you feel at home in them.
Some universities like us offer a travel bursary towards the cost of attending an open day as we appreciate that the pennies can start adding up if you attend several Open Days.
I hope that helps and good luck with your studies!
