Warsaw University entrance exam resources

Hello there! I will be sitting the medical entrance exam this year and I wanted help in getting resources to study or sample past exams. Can anyone please help me out?

I would also like to come into contact with anyone that is currently studying medicine in Warsaw Uni, Poland as I have a few questions to ask. 🤗

Are you taking the course in polish or English ? If English there should be a doc on their website listing everything you need to cover. Are you taking an exam because you did not take biology chemistry or physics ?

Hello, I will be taking the course in English. I will sit the entrance exam because I have come to know that it is a requirement. I am still done with my A-levels. Hopefully by May/june, I will have done Bio, Chem and Math A-levels.

Hi, I am not too familiar with A-levels but Polish unis usually need biology chemistry and physics for medicine courses. You only need to take an exam if you don’t have them. Did you take physics at any point? If you did I would contact the admission department and send them
Your previous certificate to check if you really have to take an exam. All candidates are usually allocated points for the specific grades on required subject and u can get in even with lower grades than in UK med schools

Look here - it lookalike your math will be ok. That means you have all 3 subject which usually equals to no entry exam!!! https://study.gov.pl/medical-university-warsaw-0

But I did take IGCSE physics. I did hear though that you can choose between physics and math for the entrance exam.

Send an enquiry to [email protected]

And get UKAT in uk

Or consider different uni which does not require UKAT like Katowice - Silesian Medical Univerity

I'm not sure cause i will be booking a place for the exam by tomorrow and everyone around is telling me that it is a requirement. I have also checked the English division website and I've seen that it's a requirement. That's why I was asking for resources to prepare for it! 🫣

Call them tomorrow if you can and ask or send an email tonight. I made that type
Of enquiry last year for Silesian Medical University for my son and the answer was that he does not need to do an exam if he has subjects. He has Scottish grades and they were absolutely fine with that.

How are the medical studies in Poland? I have been looking over at many countries and it has been hard to come to a firm decision. I've been looking for anyone to tell me about their experience of studying medicine in Poland. Could you please tell me how it's going for your son if you don't mind? 🤗

He applied in UK in the end but it is still a plan B. However, I graduated in
Poland / I am
Polish./ The structure is different that in the UK. You can look It is up on Their website but in general studying medicine in Poland is great, however it is harder than medicine in UK / same for other European countries.

Yes, the first year is hard as you need to Memorize a lot of stuff in a very short period of time. A lot more than
You ever had to do before. It gets easier in time especially from Year 4 when You go more into clinics from the lectures.

Thank you. If you need anything else please ask. You may also consider Krakow - Collegium medicum - Jagiellonian University -amazing city to study in. I would risk the statement - the best one in Poland 😀

I have taken look at it and it indeed looks beautiful! 🤩

I'm just hoping first year goes smooth as it's the hardest! Hopefully, I can find a way to manage all the information given to study in such short periods of time 🫣

That was such a lovely interaction. I'm glad I came into contact with you as that was really helpful 🤍

Thank you for your time and kindness 💓💓💓 🤗🤗
