PA straight to medicine

I'm a physician associate student. I picked PA because when I applied I couldn't afford medicine and I didn't want to b out of education for too long because I now mot people who leave don't go back. Now my parents are in a position where they can help me with med school. My question is can I apply for medicine straight after PA or do I need to work as on fist because there are not many jobs?

Also I really was thinking about going into GP which PA' can't work in anymore.

You can apply straight after your degree. I'm a bit confused what the relevance of the availability of PA jobs has to do with your application.

It’s a sensible decision. The OP wanted to work in General Practice as a PA but the RCGP and BMAGP has said that there is no role for PAs in GP therefore job opportunities in GP have significantly reduced , They will reduce further because of changes to ARRS for 2025/6
