aqa power and conflict poems

If i were to learn 6 of the most applicable and easily comparable poems which ones would you reccomend so that i have one for each theme.

So far i have done:
-London
-Ozymandias
-War photographer
-Charge of the light brigade
-Exposure

Im pretty good at analysis and got an 8 comparing Kamikazee to war photographer but i just KNOW its gonna be something im underprepared for such as storm on the island, tissue, checking out me histroy or emigree...

ill learn the context and structure and a couple quotes for all... im just a bit stuck.
I hate tissue.

you ideally should learn all 15 in some detail, but some are more important than others.
With what you have so far, I recommend that you must have 2 memory and identity poems in the bag (e.g poppies, emigree, checking). You must also have 1 nature poem since you already have exposure (e.g. prelude or storm on the island). And I'm sorry to say this but you should ideally go through tissue just because it might come up (ik everyone says that AQA can't give you tissue since it's the hardest poem but there's nothing stopping AQA from being an absolute pain in the bum and give us tissue and even though it's unlikely it's possible so you should be prepared in case of worst case scenario) I have a summary of tissue that makes it much more understandable so I will share in a bit.
Overall, looking at what you have, I recommend going through 2 identity and memory poems and at least 1 more nature poem in thorough detail. However, you must know all 15 to an extent, and a good handful (over half of them) in thorough detail.
Hope this helps

Summary of tissue to hopefully make you understand it better  :
In a nutshell, Tissue/paper is an extended metaphor for life - both are fragile, but both can hold a lot of power and have the power to change things.the poet first describes paper as fragile through "age and touching" before showing the significance of paper in the Koran, the Islamic holy book. then the poet talks about how maps are significant as well as comparing paper to buildings to show both fragility and importance. then the poet talks about how cash and receipts and money control humans "like paper kites".the poet then talks about how architects can use paper to build and how they will never need to use bricks again showing how much potential paper has, before talking about human tissue (muscles etc) and and talks about how humans are fragile before linking human tissue to our skin.Hope that helps, overall, poets intentions are to show how humans are powerful and powerless, so you could compare to ozy or london or prelude to show how human power is transient and futile.Hope this helps! Ik everyone hates tissue and how it doesn't make sense but once you know what the poem is about it's so much easier and you might even start to like it!
