Um - a house that has sufficient room for two adults, three children, dogs and all your stuff? I think you need to be a bit more specific?
I mean... if money is no object then ideally a 4 bedroomed house so each of the kids has their own room, but you can very definitely make it work with a 3 bedroomed house assuming 2 same sex kids sharing a room and 1 opposite sex kid in their own room. If all 3 kids are the same sex, they could even all three share a room if the room is big enough, so in this case you could get away with a 2 bedroomed house.
Two bathrooms would be lovely, or a bathroom plus a downstairs toilet, so there's no queues for using the toilet, but you can manage with a single bathroom if needs be.
A kitchen, a dining room, and a living room would be good for downstairs, unless you're a family that only eats TV dinners in which case I guess you can get rid of the dining room if you're really tight on money. If you can stretch to it then a conservatory would give a little extra space and a pleasant place to relax in the summer.
Garages are overrated really as nobody ever uses them for cars these days, but they do add value to the property, so if you can afford one then go for it. If you don't drive you may not be overly concerned about parking spaces, but if you do drive then a driveway is useful. If you absolutely cannot stretch to that, then at least make sure there's roadside parking outside your house.
Finally a garden - not absolutely essential but you do have dogs so it would be wise to have at least a back garden.

It all hinges on your budget, basically. Anything from a 2 up 2 down back-to-back terrace that provides basic shelter but next to no space, to a 4 bedroomed detached home with additional ensuite, dining room, conservatory, and private enclosed garden that provides a comfortable spacious home - you go with what you can afford.
