I want to change courses to the open university

Hi,
I was originally studying full-time at an in-person uni for 2 years, I want to change degrees and uni to a part-time online photography course at the open univirsity. I was wondering if SFE would fund this or if I would have to pay out of pocket.

I have 3 a levels however i got D’s so i dont know if they count and i have 7 gcses all range from 8-4

Other than the 2 years you mentioned above, do you have any other previous study in higher education? Did you receive a qualification from the current course? When would your new course start?

i have no other studies in higher education, no I didn't receive a qualification, and the new course would start in September

Based on what you have advised, you should be eligible for the Part Time Tuition Fees. OU students aren't eligible for the Part Time Maintenance Loan, unless doing the course distance learning due to disability. Nothing is definite till you apply and we can check this for you.

Application's for 25/26 academic year are not yet open. Part Time applications open usually summer. Keep checking our website/social media channels for further updates.
