AQA A-Level sociology

Hi,
Does anyone know/have any resources for AQA A-Level sociology: Theory and research methods?
My teacher wasn't in for half of y12 so when we did those topics it was not adequately covered.
I haven't got any topic lists, sociologist lists etc. so anything would be helpful please.
This is the topic i struggle on most, it manages to bring my grade down every time since its covered on two papers, so far ive been using GCSE knowledge and waffling when answering questions.

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi,

Look at the resources provided by Tutor2U, they have a lot of stuff. for the booklets, you will have to pay for it but if u can ask your school to get them for you (many schools pay for their subscriptions to get their resources).

Kind of bad, but i search up all the topics and sociologists needed (from the Tutor2U specification) in the exams and ask Chat GPT to come up with notes for me, while of course checking if they are correct based on books

A good book which has everything quite summarised is 'Succeed at A Level sociology- Rob Webb and Keith Trobe- Napier Press sociology' https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/products/succeed-at-a-level-sociology-book-one-including-as-level-book-rob-webb-9780954007997?sku=GOR007767245&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAw5W-BhAhEiwApv4goDQbvbfg3p7yejjosVRWavWoSCQz6JXPNxDoa1MH8VABa9QVWbTB1hoC_NoQAvD_BwE - (example website to show how it looks)- my school has it in its library.

Check the books and resources at your library, mine has loads of stuff.

If you have a good teacher, ask them for resources as many schools have loads, e.g., PowerPoints, workbooks etc.

If you want to use other people's note, check out the website 'knowunity'- its a place where a lot of students upload resources.

Try to search up videos - e.g., Tutor2U on YouTube

Tips:

Follow the topic specification on what you need, don't write more.

•

I find it easiest to do practice questions to check my knowledge

•

Don't forget to evaluate each topic

•

When creating notes, use words that you will understand

How I create Notes:
At the top, add a little summary of what the theory is about and its main beliefs
Make a summary table with headings such as: Theory- Sociologists- Explanation (will be good when going over things/ last min revision)
Evaluate EVERYTHING!!
Add examples
