can i get into graduate medicine with no alevels but a btec

hey I'm currently studying applied science (with gcse grade 5s in science, maths and English) and want to apply to do pharmacy then use my pharmacy degree to do graduate medicine

now say I've completed my pharmacy undergraduate will I be able to apply to graduate medicine without a level chem or biology but rather with a btec applied science and would unis look at my gcse maths and English grade

There’s not really a standard approach for graduate entry medicine, it all depends on the university. Each university will have their own admission criteria for GEM. There are quite a few where you don’t even need an undergraduate science degree to do graduate entry medicine so worth doing your research with different institutions that offer graduate entry medicine to understand what your options/the requirements are.

Ofc you can do that, just make sure to see the requirements for each university you want to go to and see if which degrees the accept. Many people do biomed for 3 years and then medicine but if you want to do pharmacy for 5 years that’s fine too, you will be able to know better the medications you would prescribe once u become a doctors.
