Do I have to play back my bursary if I quit my PGCE?

I really want to drop put of my PGCE, but I receive a bursary for it. Will I have to pay it back if I do decide to drop out?

Why do you want to drop out? Surely, completing it is the better option?

I can't. It's destroyed my mental health. I have no wish to be a teacher anymore

No, you will not have to pay it back but the payments will stop as soon as you leave the course and any overpayment will have to be paid back.
