OCR Computing A-Level Quiz Based NEA

Im doing a quiz based NEA and it will be on Triple A title games where it will ask the user what genre they want to pick and will display questions about certain triple a title games. Since it is a quiz based NEA, I need help with some ideas that will be seen as A-Level worthy as I know quizzes are on the basic side. Any ideas that can help make a more unique quiz will be appreciated.

You'll need some sort of algorithm that adapts the quiz based on how the user is performing.

Maybe add a timed mode or a difficulty setting where harder questions give more points. You could also throw in some kinda storyline or progression system to make it feel less like a basic quiz. Maybe even some mini-games between questions?
