Hi, I’m really struggling with my finances right now and was wondering if I could get my last payment brought forward from April. Is this possible?

Hi Sully,

Normally we can't bring payments forward, as these are in line with your course term dates. We do advise to speak to your university welfare advisor, who may be able to help you till your payment is paid.

If you're in financial difficulty and can provide evidence of this, you can possible apply on the Financial Hardship Form found here https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/nysf/sfe_financial_hardship_confirmation_form_o.pdf
You would need to return this with your last 3 months bank statements for all accounts in your name. The team would then review this and confirm if accepted or not. This is not guaranteed.

Once received, this can take 5 working days but overall may take up to 2-3 weeks, if the team need to ask for further evidence.
