My review of a BCU offer holder day

Attending the BCU Offer Holder Day was such a great experience! It was much more informative than the open day I had previously attended because there were fewer people, which meant I could properly interact with staff and other offer holders. It also felt more personal, giving me the chance to ask questions and really understand what studying at BCU would be like.
For my course, Diagnostic Radiography, they organised activities like “radiography yoga”, which focused on teamwork and helped us get to know each other and gave us initial insights into the course in a fun way. We also got hands-on experience in the X-ray room, where we practised using an X-ray tube, making the course feel even more real and exciting! These activities were hosted by the lecturers, who were really approachable, and I was able to ask them questions about clinical placement and other important aspects of the course.
We were also given a presentation alongside other offer holders from different subjects, which gave a broader insight into university life at BCU. Meeting other offer holders was another highlight, we exchanged socials and had already made a few friends before even starting the course.

Overall, it was a really good experience, and I’d definitely recommend going if you’ve applied to BCU. Keep an eye on your emails to book your Offer Holder Day—you won’t want to miss it!
