Changing courses from first year

I'm currently a student in biomed, just in my second semester of 1st year. I always planned on changing, I reapplied through UCAS and got a place for pre-med or medicine with a foundation year. How do I go about switching over, do I need to fully finish out this year? What else do i need to consider?

When you say, "I reapplied through UCAS and got a place for pre-med or medicine with a foundation year", is this at the same university you're currently at? Is the offer unconditional, or does it require you to achieve a certain average grade this year?

If it's a unconditional offer, you can almost certainly simply drop-out whenever you like and then re-enroll in September. However, it's best to check with the university itself, just to check. Also, you may well be liable for the cost of accommodation for the remainder of the year.

Have you contacted Student Finance England (or equivalent where you are) to confirm that there are no implications?

What are the conditions of your Offer?
Have you told these Unis that you are currently at another Uni?
