SFE long residency

I have applied for SFE under the long residency, i have been here since 2002 (12) years old, i am finding it really difficult to get documents from the earlier 2000s as i was so young and have moved around quite a bit, i have even forgotten some addresses and family members from so long ago, my Gps have said they can only give me a letter stating when i registered and that il currently still registered. Which wont be enough evidence. Im getting worried now as i dont know what else to do to get documents from so long ago and with me being so young. Ive contacted college they said they keep data only for 6 years but i need documents from 2006.. Should i just give up on my dreams?? I feel like i should. 😪😓🙏🏾

Hi there.

If you were minor (under 20) during part of the residency period you may provide
Young person’s account
Child tax credits letter student as a minor
Child benefit letter student must be named
Letters from college or school must be hand signed dated and signed or digitally dated and signed or have an original school/college stamp. They must state attended from and to dates.
Original education certificates must be accredited by OFQUAL

Thanks, Leah.

These are very difficult to find as my parents have passed and schools have said they dont keep hold of records from that long ago.. Would a SARU from the home office be ok to send ? Along with the doctor letters? Or that still wont be enough!? Thanks for ur response

Hi there. Can you confirm what an SARU is? Doctor letters can be reviewed, but they would have to cover the dates we have requested and show that you were attending appointments etc. A letter simply stating you have been registered there wouldn't be enough as it needs to show attendance. Thanks, Leah.
