A level physics

I recently moved to the UK and chose to pursues A levels and study it from scratch before my A level exams, however as I am new here I’m not quite sure the steps to do great in physics. I know solving past papers in key however I am doing all this on my own and having searched the internet there isn’t anyone who can guide me without a huge cost price. I really need help in scheduling out what I need to do and the right resources for aqa to get an A in physics. For example, should I first do the topics in detail and that too but from where because most on YouTube provide revision videos however I am not on that stage yet. It would be helpful if I could get some help regarding this.

Just to say I don't to AQA but I do Edexcel A-Level Physics so this is how I would go about it.

Firstly, get yourself a textbook. I know that it might cost you but I am sure someone can recommend you one that is useful.

Go through section by section and use youtube videos to support you. My favourite is TL Physics. There are also lots of physics simulation sites e.g. physicsim, Phet etc. that will help you see ideas.

Make sure to do the questions and any questions on the videos. Alevelphysicsonline is also great but you may need to pay for the 2nd year content.

If you get really good you can extend your learning using challenge questions on isaacphysics.

Make sure to do everything once in detail seeing derivations even if you don't understand and enjoy the subject. Physics is an exciting subject and it should be enjoyed but not everything you need to do for exams so at the end of the day after you have used your textbook and gone in detail you can go back and just use videos or there is a great website called physics and maths tutor which has detailed notes, flashcards and also packs of exam questions specific to topics.

For a specific timeline im not sure but for some reference (sorry if this is over explaining but I'm not sure how much you know as you have just moved here) but we complete an A-Level course over 2 years and from my experience we tend to finish everything probably no later than just after Easter of the second year.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know!

Thanks! I thought at this point I barely have 2 months so I could just start solving past papers and go through content from that which I don't get. But yeah I will probably just borrow a textbook from the library to just go through, but yh past papers, questions and questions!
