I've really enjoyed a lot of books, but if I'm being asked to name my favourite ones... I think I'd say:

Babel by R. F. Kuang - I'm in love with this book.
The Lord Of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkein - the effort, beauty and imagination put into this series is commendable! :biggrin:
Second Foundation by Isaac Asimov - definitely THE BEST science-fiction book I've read :yep:

I could be wrong but is this book the novel to the well known trilogy The Godfather?

Wheres mummy gone by cathy glass
I miss mummy by cathy glass
Now then lad by Mike pannett
Crime squad by mike pannett
I have forgotten a book to add to my favorites:

Q and A by Vikas Swarup

The book to the film 'Slumdog Millionaire'. I like the structure of the plot: another detail and secret of the main character gets revealed from question to question and the chronological order is random. Best thing: the end is not foreseeable.

@SilentPrincess13 , @Emma:-) could be a book for you.

I must say I enjoyed “The Lord of the Rings” but my favourite Tolkien book is his “Homecoming of Beorhtnoth Beorhthelm’s Son”, based on the Saxon Battle of Maldon. Farmer Giles is also extremely funny and many of his poems very touching.

Surely. I said that the book was made into a film, I did not watched it, but according tp the summary, there are fine differences to the book. Read it first.

It is. There is also another book called The Sicilian. There are a few books in the godfather series by other authors, but they are not as good as Mario Puzo's books imo.

I'll go with Dune by Frank Herbert. Sci-fi masterpiece, deep world-building, political intrigue, and giant sandworms.

I have the series with me! Been waiting to read it for sooo long!
(too many books and ebooks piled up lol)
