Year 12 mocks for medicine

So my year 12 mocks are being brought forward by about a month or so and I don't think I'll be able to achieve very high scores in my mocks for year 12. If i get below what the universities want in these mocks, will universities still accept me??

Im assuming that the universities want high scores in the year 12 mocks to be accepted (like A's or so) on a conditional offer?? Or is it year 13 exams that they place importance on??

Ive been so stressed out about it and I just dont know what to do because im scared I won't be accepted

it depends on the unis you apply to and whether you are contextual or not. you would typically need A*AA/AAA for most unis but i think there's a few AABs around, you'd have to research that though because i don't know which unis they are off the top of my head. however you need at least the minimum grades required, they're likely to reject you if you apply with lower than that.
try your best to get the best predicted grades you can. if you don't perform as well as you wanted in these mocks but you've been getting As and A*s across the rest of the year try and persuade your teachers to boost your predicted grades using this as evidence. your situation sounds rough but it's not the end of the world yet - all the best ❤️

Thank you so much for this. It helped me out massively. I'll definitely look into specific unis more now. Thank you again ❤️

Application grades don’t have to be in until like October so if you have exams in your subjects in September these can boost the grades

i'm glad it was useful! these links might help you work out what your options are in the worst case scenario that your predicted grades are not the best
Entry requirements | Medical Schools Council
MyUCAT - Strategic Applications
bear in mind that these are for 2025 entry and things may change by the time you apply, so make sure to double check everything before submitting an application! and of course all of your choices are also subject to whatever ucat score you get, so that will also be a key factor to consider.
looking at the second link, there are apprarently a bunch of unis that do not consider predicted grades at all! obvs they're still going to give you a conditional offer in the end and you'd need to achieve that to confirm your place, but hopefully that gives you options even if your mocks do not go well.

Even if you don’t get your desired grades you could take a gap year or do a foundation year. The textbooks are really helpful and past papers. Also I used to use allery chemistry on YouTube for chemistry

apply strategically! if you have circumstances that qualify you for contextual offers, research the unis that do however do keep in mind the UCAT score ! look for foundation years as well. do try your best, if you don't achieve the grades you need it is possible to look into taking a gap year rather than wasting an entire summer on your UCAT where you could revise to get better grades in your a-levels😊
