Are you able to attend offer-holder/applicant days? You would be able to talk to current students there.

Hi @Aiishaa., 👋

It's brilliant to see that you are looking to study Architecture and that you are interested in our University! 😊

Whilst I didn't study on the BSc (Hons) Architecture course myself, here is some information about the course and the university that might be useful to you:

The course

Students on this course will gain industry experience through working on live projects with local communities and professionals within Preston

Through this course, you will be equipped with the skills needed to progress to architectural practice which you can learn more about here

As part of the course you will go on regular field visits and have chance to go on an annual overseas field trip.

This course has accreditations from the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)

We've been ranked 2nd in the North West for Architecture by the Guardian University Guide 2025

The Complete University Guide (Architecture) 2025 ranked us 2nd in the North West for student satisfaction

Campus life

As an architecture student, you'll be based at our Preston campus which is located right in the heart of the city making it really easy to get around without relying on public transport

The campus is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and there is Preston bus station in the city centre which gives you excellent links if you choose to commute and want to travel to the rest of the country

Campus is surround by beautiful green spaces which students can relax and unwind in. In the city centre you have many independent shops, high street favourites, cafes and bars to enjoy

As a student here at the University of Central Lancashire, you'll have access to support from our dedicated teams who are here to help students with all aspects of university life

You can also discover what it's like to study architecture here from course leader Lee Ivett 👇

I hope this helps give you a better understanding of the course and our University, do let me know if you have any questions at all and I'd be happy to help 😊

Best wishes,
Sarah
