LJMU Mpharm question

I've applied to study Pharmacy at LJMU and have my interview next week. On further look on the website it mentions online lectures but not in-person. I know an optometry student in Manchester who only has online lectures. I was wondering if this is the case for the pharmacy degree. Do you have any in-person lectures?

Hi, thanks for your question and hope your interview went well!

I can confirm that we definitely have in-person teaching on the Pharmacy course at LJMU. This includes lectures, clinical skills workshops, labs, placement and simulation-based learning in the hospital suite. We’re on campus throughout the week, so there’s a good mix of hands-on and face-to-face learning.

We do also have some asynchronous (pre-recorded) lectures assigned each week that you watch in your own time, but the majority of our teaching is in person. I’ve found the balance really helpful because you get both structure and flexibility.

Please me know if you have any more questions, happy to help!
