Why hasn’t he removed his ex

So me and my boyfriend have been together for some months. Anyways he has a ex that recently followed him on instagram, he requested to follow her back shortly after. Since then she has been liking his stories, she even sent him a DM and quickly deleted before he could see it. He ignores her and hasn’t reached out to her despite her direct out reach towards him. Yet he views all her social stories that she posts? Why won’t he just unfollow/block her ??? He claims he doesn’t want her.

he probably wants her, with these things if you feel it then its probably true

based on what you've been saying, she's been acting desperate (her reaching out to him directly and trying to follow him) he is just most likely curious to what she's up too so that's why he is probably viewing those. you're overthinking this which isn't good for your mental health, and you should have a talk with him regarding this entire "situation/facade" so that there's no mistrust in your relationship with him

you say he claims he doesn't want her so does that mean you "basically/tried" to confront him with this? if you interrogated him, he might think you're crazy or clingy which could cause your relationship to end (I'm not saying it will, just probably)

all in all, just have an honest conversation with him (just the 2 of you) and say how you don't like it, and how it makes you feel.

Hope this helped you )

This seems like poor advice. This kind of thing can often be more a symptom of trust issues than of any real infidelity.

It just depends on the situation, there's no hard and fast rule that says you have to fall out with your ex.
