Is it realistic to go from biomedical sciences to finance as a career path?

I'm currently a 2nd year Biomed Student, I want to get into finance maybe actuarial sciences but I'm not sure how to make that happen.

A lot of these courses and apprenticeships require a high maths grade, while I'm really good at maths and did really well for GCSE's, I messed up A levels because of health reasons. I'm on track to get a 1st at uni but its not maths heavy at all. I am learning to code in my free time but thats all I could show right now.

What steps would I have to take to break into this field? Is there any other routes I can take that I can prove that I'm good at maths? What postgrad could I chose to get into Finance?

Thanks in advance.
