English student studying in Scotland

Hello, I'm an a-level student in Liverpool who has a conditional offer at Strathclyde, and I'm confused whether to apply for student finance England or for the Scottish student finance system.

Hi there. Will you be moving to Scotland for the purpose of study? Thanks, Leah.

Thanks. If you are still classing England as home you'd apply to us for the funding. It would only be Scotland if you are permanently moving there. Thanks, Jason

I'm still quite confused sorry, I am currently living in England, but plan to live in Glasgow year-round for the duration of my course, with no gaps to return home. I cannot understand from any website wether I am to apply for SAAS or SFE

Hi Morgan,

Are you permanently moving away from England and classing Scotland as your permanent home moving abroad or are you still classing England as 'home'? If so, then you apply to Student Finance England for the funding. Thanks, Jason
