Locker Room Ettique

Hi! I recently have started playing sport before attending Uni lectures, obviously this means I need to shower before leaving. When I first entered the changing rooms there were flip-flops and then when I walked in realised they were communal showers. Am I supposed to wear these just in the shower or is it no shoes at all in chaning rooms for cleanliness?? There was also a sign asking people to be mindful and cover up in the changing rooms but I assume its okay to go in the showers naked?

Probably advisable to wear the flip flops in the shower. If you need a full shower before the lecture probably will be fine to shower normally

I think that if you are heading straight to lectures it's probably fine to strip down before using the showers.

Generally in gyms/spas I visit I'm expected to wear flip flops in communal/food areas and corridors but not in changing rooms or showers.

I generally wear a towel to the shower but it's just up to you I suppose, it's a changing room at the end of the day, but some of the places I've went to it would def be seen as a bit odd and it depends where the showers are in relation to the changing area really. (Although If they're specifically telling people to be mindful and cover up in the changing rooms they prob aren't keen on people walking about naked at all)

Wearing flip-flops to walk to and from the shower, probably a good idea. When showering you should be naked.
