hi i did igcse english lit and lang last year and i got an 8 in english lit and a 9 in english lang. My best piece of advice is to try and practice essay planning under timed conditions as well as writing mock essays under timed conditions and handing these in to your teacher to mark:smile:

hello - i didn't take sociology GCSE but i'm taking the a level - tutor2u is a good resource for notes, videos etc.
for all subjects doing practice questions is the best revision in the last couple of months before exams, past papers are the best and also notice what type of questions and topics come up a lot and what is required by the mark scheme - then you can prioritise this in your revision.
if you're struggling to remember details or concepts when you do questions, then you need to do some more revision like flashcards, watching videos, reading textbooks/ study guides, but it sounds like you're already doing those things so more likely you'll need practice with essay structure.
if you can ask your teacher like the other person suggested i'm sure they'll be helpful but if not there are some really good youtube videos for GCSE essay writing, also find out how long you'll get on each question as timing is important in essay subjects - if you're not timing out don't worry about it but if you're slow at writing maybe try some timed essay practice (i timed out in all my english exams i'm pretty sure)

summary:

figure out what you need to work on (recall / essay structure / timing)

pay attention to past paper questions and mark schemes

focus on practice and active recall based revision

good luck with your exams, it sounds like you're working really hard so i'm sure you'll smash them
