English GCSE help from someone who's english level is very poor

*i came to this coutry 4 years ago, i didn't do y7 i did not know english at all. I learned english in 2 years but still it was not enough to improve both of my english language and english litterature skills. I stuggles to improve my level in english Lang and lit despite my efforts. I was really lost all the time in english and never did any kinf of examionation because my teacher thought that i was not cable to do them due to my english and my poor writing skills. Moving into year 10 i finally decided to try to understand how exams work in the uk and what the questions and asking me to do. In the end of y10 i have my first ever mock test in exam condition. I studied for it for few months and did the exam. I was sitting in the exam room with nothing in mind i did not know how to start and what to say it was like all my revision were gone i saw everyone was writing so much and asking for another paper when i couldnt even finish my first page. I managed to finish on time but i was not confident at all about my answer. Come to the results for english language : Paper 1 i got a grade 3. I was very desapointed even if i didn't expect much. Paper 2 i got a 6+ and 5 marks away of a 7. I was very surpried but was really proud of myself even tho i knew that it was just luck. For english literature paper 1 i got 4+ and paper 2 i got the same. In overall it was not bad but not good too. I also did y11 mocks and english language p1 3+ (few marks off 4) p2: 5+ (few marks off 6) for lit p1 5- and they lost my paper for p2. My gcse are in 2 months and i dont feel like im improving at all i have small tests and i keep on getting the same results even when i think that i did good. I dont know what to do*if anyone who has advice it will be nice.

Thank you for reading.

There is an app you can get on your phone called Duolingo which can help teach you English. I do not think you need to worry, as most colleges will let you study with at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Maths, though you might not be able to do some A-levels. As the last person to reply said, Mr. Everything in English is great, and the website Seneca (Free Homework & Revision for A Level, GCSE, KS3 & KS2) gives you free mini lessons on any topic you want
