hiii, honestly u should be super proud of urself ur grades are amazing! im currently predicted 9s in gcse french and eng lit but the principles stay the same. for mfl try and memorise as many complex/ high level phrases to put into ur 150 words to get u more marks on complexity. honestly past papers are gonna be ur bsf, pls if ur gonna do anything i tell u take past papers and sample papers SERIOUSLY, they really help for mfl because its more practice and u get a feel for what is going to come up, plus imo i think if u keep on doing them u will be able to spot patterns and almost predict what will come up based on what has/ hasnt and u can focus on that (i did this for my arabic gcse in y10 and i got a 9 so i think it works!!) also just focus on grammar for now in spanish, because tbh u dont really need fancy adjectives and verbs to get full marks, i feel like ur structure is more important. for listening try and listen as much as possible to things in spanish: past papers, podcasts, tv shows, songs etc so u can identify the language quicker and better in the exam. im ngl i dont really score above 60% in listening but honestly ur grade averages out if ur better at reading or speaking or writing (i typically get wayyyyy higher on those). i havent seen anyone ever mention this for eng lit but i promise it singlehandedly got me my 9s in my eng mocks. chatgpt. i give it all the themes in aic for example and all the characters and tell it to give me quotes for each theme and each character and super high level analysis for each quote. then i ask it to do the same but this time to give me 3 quotes for each character which links to each theme. i js memorise these quotes and analysis because u can use them for any essay. if u get a character question, ur gonna be limited on marks if u dont really expand ur point and link it to themes. for example if u got a question on sheila, link her to themes of younger generations, attitudes to social class and women etc. i also dont really see ppl talking about it but WRITERS INTENTION!!! this is where u get big marks- u gotta explain why the writer did this, whats the effect on audience. u have to consider the time period and what the writer was thinking- this rlly brings up ur analysis. u also need a super strong thesis statement, because my teacher (an examiner) told me that if u have a strong thesis statement the examiner would have an idea about what level band ur essay is in and cannot mark u down. eg if they think ur thesis statement is band 4 worthy, they cant mark u lower than that- pls dont quote me on that this is js what my teacher says! in all honesty u cant change an eng lit or mfl grade overnight, just chip away at them thru ur revision and by the time the exams come u will be prepared!
