Edinburgh University

Hey everyone,

Has anyone heard back from Edinburgh University Scots law yet?

Is there a general time frame when the university makes decisions for applicants?

Very nervous currently as Edinburgh is my top choice and I am yet to hear from them. 😀

Probably overthinking it too much but never hurts to ask!

Haven't heard back either, and they say that they respond by around mid April

I’m not contextual. For my highers I sat English maths modern studies physics and chemistry and gained 5 As. This year I’m studying advanced higher mods and higher politics!

that’s amazing, well done!! sorry if this is a bother but i’m currently in s5 and am currently planning to apply to edin uni for scots law. i have multiple work experiences and have done quite a few extracurriculars and programmes as well as my grades being predicted AAAAA in my highers. however i was just wondering if you could let me know what kind of things/how much you did to get an offer for edin because i am unsure on the standard - currently i seem to have done quite a bit more than most people in my year but obviously that’s not representative as although there are 250 people in my year, they are not overly ambitious or dedicated. so it would be so amazing if could give me a baseline for edin so i know what else i need to take part in.

Hey, of course! I didn’t really do much extra. I done 1 weeks work experience and then I’m head girl. I also do a YASS course x
