A233 or A240?

I'm about to enrol for my next module following a study break. I'm on the Creative Writing and English Literature course at the Open University, and have completed A111, A112, and A215.
My intention was to continue with A233, but then A240 came up as an option which I found interesting, so now I'm oscillating between the two and would love to get some feedback on both modules.
