Mistakenly ticked the ‘criminal record’ button on UCAS

Hi,

So I mistakenly declared that I hold a criminal conviction. WHICH I DO NOT!
I called ucas but they said unfortunately there is nothing they can do. So o contacted each university separately. They said I s a very common error.
However, I’m gutted! I already sent a late application which I know that may chances are lower and now this. Will this affect my application? Has anyone gone through this and still had offer?
I have applied for BSc Children’s nursing course as a mature student.

Thanks!

Don't panic - it is a very common mistake and Unis really do not mind.
Email all of your choices.

Include your UCAS ID, full name and date of birth and the course you have applied to.

Explain the mistake and ask if they need any further information from you
To say this is common is something of an understatement. I am amazed that UCAS haven't added an additional step to double-check if someone ticks yes.

Well, not that amazed knowing UCAS
