Is it worth doing a full A-Level Exam in Yr 12?

I'm in Yr 11 right now and I plan to do Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-Levels and I wanted to see if its a good idea to do some of the A2 levels exams early in Yr 12 and which one i should do, I'm thinking maths but what would be most optimal?

Id recommend not taking them early. The ALevels are designed to be a 2 year course and I think it would be very challenging to learn all the content of any full ALevel subject in only a year

I think you should just do them all across a 2 year period.
Doing 1 full A-Level in a year is extremely challenging and will be very hard work - especially as you'll have 2 other A-Levels to focus on.
But also, some unis/courses will ask for all A-Levels to be completed in one sitting, and this could potentially mess that up (may be exceptions for A-Levels taken early?)

If you're only taking Maths, Further Maths and Physics then no.

But if you did Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Economics, then you could justify taking A-Level Maths early in Year 12 and 3 A-Levels in Year 13. 🙂

Thanks for the advice, I'm probably going to take them for the full 2 years 😀
