Changing to a completely different course

Hi, so I am a student in S6 who has received an offer for geography. However, I have serious doubts on the proceeding with the choice and I'm wanting to switch to an anatomy course if possible.

I have met the entry requirements (5As and a B in higher) and I am currently sitting 3 advanced highers (maths, geography and mandarin). I am mostly wondering if I should apply for clearing (if there are usually any available) or try to switch courses when I am in university?

If there is any advice I should follow, or any other routes I should take, please let me know!

Contact the university which has made you an offer for Geography and ask if they'd be prepared to change it to an offer for Anatomy. (Is there really a course simply entitled "Anatomy"?)

They might say that the course is full, or that your application isn't strong enough, etc. but asking won't jeopardise your Geography offer. If this doesn't work then, as you say, you can always try Clearing.

Attempting to switch after you start is always an option too, but if they "No" then you're out if options, other than dropping out and reapplying for the following year.

Applied Anatomy at Bristol may still be accepting applications - worth a call.
