MSc Early Child Development and Clinical Applications 2025 Entry

Hi! I've currently applied for ECDCA at UCL, as was wondering if anyone yet had received an invite for an interview? I know it's still quite early, but I thought I'd still ask (as you can tell I'm anxiously waiting haha) !

Hey, I have also applied for ECDCA at UCL/Anna Freud. I haven't heard anything back apart from the email they sent out mid-feb to say that my application had been recieved and was under review. I have seen that invitations have been sent out for the other two courses offered by the UCL and Anna Freud Centre collaboration so I would expect to hear soon!

I had my interview this week and the invite was sent out late Feb. I wouldn't worry though because they said to expect the outcome by the end of April. I'm assuming they're doing interviews in batches till the end of March.

Firstly, congrats on getting an interview! And thanks for letting me know about the decision timeline, that's reassuring to know. Would you mind sharing when you submitted your application? I submitted mine around October, but I'm not sure if they're working from the earliest applications, or the latest, since they mentioned they'd start reviewing all applications from February 3rd.

Hi, I submitted it quite late - around late Jan, and my last reference was submitted the day before. They could be doing it from the late - early or in a completely random order. Good luck!

Do you mind sharing how you answered the questions about qualities you have that make you bad at working with children? That one really threw me!

Same here! I'm lowkey worried that I screwed it up, but I just thought it's better to be honest and turn a bad quality into a positive, rather than say I don't have any? But who knows lol

hiiii  I think what you did is great! Our reflections on 'bad' qualities can definitely turn these 'bad' qualities into something constructive and positive

hiii🙂 I talked about emotion suppression, the way it manifested in my work with children, my reflections on it and what will I do in the future

I spoke about my anxiety and general shy disposition but then spoke about how I've tried to work on it and how this 'self improvement' has positively impacted my work with children.
