I’m looking for some advice! I originally applied forPsychology for 2025 entry (applied early due toOxbridge) but have now realised it’s not the rightchoice for me. I’ve always wanted to do VeterinaryMedicine but made a last-minute switch, and I’m nowcertain that I want to go back to it.I take Biology, Psychology, and English, along withan EPQ, and I’m predicted A*s in all of them. I reallylike the course at UCLan and was wondering aboutthe likelihood of getting in through Clearing(depending on spaces) or if I’d be better offreapplying next year.Any advice would be massively appreciated! Thanksin advance.

Open days

Open days are super useful in exploring courses, getting answers to any questions you may have and most importantly for me, getting a feel for the university. Getting a feel of the university and the city helped me the most in deciding which university to attend.

Our next open day is Saturday 21 June- book your place here: Undergraduate Open Day at Preston Campus - June 2024

At our undergraduate Open Day in June 2025 you can:

Find out more about your chosen subject area

Speak to subject tutors and current students who can answer all your questions

Chat to our specialist teams from accommodation to careers and student support

Get expert advice on writing your personal statement

Explore our campus and facilities on our student-led tours

Visit accommodation and see where you'll be living

Go on a walking tour around Preston and get to know the city

Access exclusive discounts at hotels, shops and restaurants

Here's a little taster of our October open day: Instagram

To explore courses that are on at clearing and for guidance visit: University Clearing Guidance - UCLan

Let me know if you have any questions 🙂
