Hi all, as far as I am aware there’s no thread for the scholarships this year. I applied for / interviewed with Lincoln’s Inn. Thought a thread would be helpful for updates (on any Inn).
Hi, I also applied for Lincolns How was your interview and how are you feeling
I think it went okay - the panel were very friendly which and it felt more like a chat than an interrogation. Though my confidence seems to be decreasing by the day… How was yours?

Same I also found them friendly Likewise I'm not sure, as some questions I thought answered well but others not sure

I am wondering how much weight they put on the presentation as I thought that went well for me. I had one question that I answered objectively poorly, but the rest was okay. Did you find they were writing lots throughout? Trying to look for signs as the wait is driving me loopy!

I think the presentation is quite important and I think mine went well Same generally I think it was okay I think they did write a decent amount Same in regards to the wait, im not sure how much longer we have to wait
Inner Temple results have come out now. Sadly did not get it. A little disappointed but glad for the experience.
Sorry to hear that, but you’re right it’s great experience either way. How did you find the interview process with Inner and are you planning on reapplying?

Thanks.
I enjoyed the interview process. I thought it was good fun actually. We were given a criminal case judgement to analyse and then were additionally asked questions relating to our application. I thought they got the balance right, too, where it was probing but not one of these interrogative horror stories you sometimes hear about.
I can't work out if I'm happy that they gave us our scores. It's nice to know I was close (literally 2% off the boundary that succeeded this year) but also quite agonising at the same time. Hahaha.
The main thing is that I now know and have a rough idea of my strengths and weaknesses to build on.
No. I don't think I'll reapply. I should (hopefully) be alright without the scholarship - just not the ideal situation.
