Heard nothing back

I sent my portfolio to UAL for Documentary Photography at LCC on the 5th Feb and I have still heard nothing back. I’ve heard that other people have been getting offers or interviews for the same course. Should I be scared?

Ah that's the same for me too... I sent my portfolio in early january but still waiting for a response. I got an automated email saying it could take up to May for them to respond, but i'm planning to email them about it as I want to apply for accommodation soon! It is worrying though 😞

i sent my portfolio around mid december and i received an offer mid feb, so around 2 months. i think they get a lot of applications and take time to get through them all so i don't think you should be worried or scared!! good luck with your application btw!

Hello,
I am a student rep at UAL and can help out with your question. The wait can definitely feel long, especially when you put a lot of effort into your application, but this does mean the university is thoroughly reviewing your application and will update your UAL portal as soon as a decision gets made. Now is definitely a good time to start preparing for what's next, whether that's gathering documents or planning your move.
