Change degree after foundation year

Heyy, I am a foundation year student at university of Huddersfield doing business management and law. My foundation year is going to an end but I realise that I have no interest in law and business I want to change my course into law. I sent email to my university they said you can’t do that. Please help me out what I have to do because I don’t want to do business or law. Will I be able to do that if I change my uni?

When you asked you your current uni about a switch to Law, we're you asking about starting Year 1 in Law this September, after having completed Foundation Year (Year 0) or Law and Business? Did they explain why you couldn't switch? (I'm assuming it was there was insufficient Law within the Business Management and Law Foundation Year to prepare you for a Law degree.)

Do your existing qualifications (e.g. A levels, BTECs or whatever) meet the entry requirements for Law at Hudersfield (e.g. BBB or 120 UCAS points)? If not, then this may also have been why they wouldn't let you switch.

Do they meet the entry requirements for Law at a university you are interesting in switching to? If so, and the uni is still accepting new UCAS applications (they may not be, given that we're way past the equal consideration deadline), then you could simply apply to start at that uni in September.
