How likely would it be to get into Kings with these grades?

I'm in year 12, but I messed up my GCSEs, only one 7 with the rest being 6s and 2 5s. Kings is my dream university and I'm hoping to do a midwifery degree, I think if my GCSEs aren't too good then I might retake them but I'm not too sure how they feel about retakes.

do you have a grade 6 in english language maths and science? if yes then you are fine! If not then retake english lang or maths - they dont mind retakes for that degree unless its dentistry or medicine etc

Hey, I wanna do Econ at kcl but I’ve got 1A* 5A and 2 Bs and 1 C. Does it matter what my GCSEs grades are?

not really, unless you got the C in maths or english - then you might have to resit. I think UCL values the Gcse overall grades from what I have seen before.

Don't stress too much, your GCSEs aren't everything. King's will consider your A-Levels, personal statement, and experience. Retakes could help, but check with admissions to see how they view them for midwifery. Focus on acing your A-Levels and make your personal statement shine! Keep your options open too, just in case.

How do I make a really solid personal statement?
